Bouncing or as it is also known, Powerbocking is a new sport. When bouncing, the athlete walks, runs, sprints or jumps in special jumping stilts or jumping boots (7leagueboot) and thus gets the chance to break all the ordinary rules of movement. With a little practice one can jump up to 3 meters high and 6 meters wide. In addition, top speeds of up to 35 km/h can be easily achieved! Bouncing combines fun sport and promotes health in one unit, as it is easy on the joints through Hi-Tech suspension springs and is even less straining than conventional jumping or jogging.
The applications range from acrobatics and muscle training to body shaping or jogging – the possibilities are endless and full of variety. The 7leagueboot has even gained increasing importance as a therapeutic device in sports medicine. Bouncing is not more dangerous than other sports, such as Inline skating. With the appropriate protective equipment and the necessary precautions the greatest risk is still the athletes overestimation of its own capabilities.
