Appointed by the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi, Artaaj organized Commencement Day 2010, on January 8, 2010. The scope of work included conceptualizing, design and fabrication, and entire event management. Celebrated at Emirates Palace Hotel, 142 students successfully graduated from the Institute, which is affiliated to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and four major international oil companies.
Petroleum Institute offers bachelor degrees in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum and Petroleum Geosciences, as well as Master of Engineering degrees in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering. It liaises with the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Maryland (College Park) in capitalizing particular researches.
