Artaaj was the official event management agency handling the Performance Excellence Awards ceremony for Dubai Islamic Bank. Marking 35 years, the bank held a grand, action packed celebration for its staff. Artaaj executed the project from end to end, handling the finest details, from décor, sound & light to complete event programming.
Held at the Dubai World Trade Center, the event setup included a grand stage set created with wall to wall LED star cloth with an elegant stretch fabric backdrop. Gobos featuring the 35 year mnemonic were created and projected on to the walls. 2 massive projection screens, over 300” diagonal, were installed from the ceiling, projecting live video feed, so that the 1400 strong audience could have a clear view of the event proceedings. The entire room was washed in corporate green, and custom candle lit table centerpieces added the finishing touch.
The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Management speeches were followed by a short documentary created about the history of the bank with interviews from a founder board member. Then began the award ceremony honoring the highest achievers of 2009, interspersed with an original live comedic play and a grand dinner served to all the guests. This was followed by an exciting game show, custom created for the event. Guests won fabulous prizes including 5 star dinners, spa visits, weekend getaways and a fabulous vacation to Malaysia, ending the event on a high note!
