Mozafarian Jewelers is a 7th generation jewelry business, originally the history of the family can be traced back to Neuchatel in Switzerland in the early 1820’s were they started with the manufacture of clocks and public time pieces for the governments and heads of states. Today, the business has branched out to include gems, jewelry, gold and silverware in the international markets.
In this exhibit, Mozafarian Jewelers will be displaying an array of the most important and exquisite gems and jewelry from around the world. For thousands of years emperors, kings and queens, heads of states of nations and VIP’s have invested in diamonds as a source of protection for their nation’s security and welfare. This year at the Big Boys Toys you will be able to see what the emperor, the king, queen, head of nations both greatly valued and treasured.
One of the most valued pieces that will be showcased is ‘The Royal Pots,’ which was commissioned by the Mozafarian family for the celebration of 2500 years of the Persian Empire by the Persian Monarchy in the 1960’s. The set comprises of 4 magnificent pieces including 2 pots, one rectangular box and a picture frame. These pieces are set with over 3000 diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and turquoise. The set includes a lavish 150 carats of diamonds, 200 carats of rubies, 130 carats of sapphires, 180 carats of emeralds, 160 carats of turquoise as well as a large ruby of 4.5 carats, a large cabochon emerald of 70 carats and over 4 kilos of gold.
The stand will be designed elaborately to reflect the Persepolis time and era.
