OMP is a leading company in the field of design and production of accessories for the Racing, Karting,,Tuning, and Off Road sectors.
Founded in 1973 , the company has grown over the years thanks to the success of its products. In addition to the production of roll bars and safety components for racecars, the company is especially known for its fireproof tracksuits worn by the highly decorated champions of Formula 1 and WRC like Michael Shumacher, Gerard Berger, Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Tommy Makkinen, Juka Kankkunen, Carlos Sainz and Petter Solberg.
In February 2008 the control of OMP is acquired by SAYE S.P.A Group.held by Delprato brothers. Nowday the 96% of the company is held by SAYE S.P.A Group and by 4% Lapo Salvadori, a financial manager.
Today OMP has a modern, recently renovated plant in Italy of about 30,000 square meters with 80 workers and 1 international subsidiary company in Miami
