To mark the beginning of Lent, Artaaj held its very own pancake day celebrations. With a batch of warm pancakes arriving in time for tea, we all tucked in and topped our pancakes with our favorite toppings – everything from the traditional lemon and sugar to maple syrup, banana and chocolate spread (or, in some cases, everything at once!)
The whole team then gathered outside the office to take part in the surprise element of the afternoon – the Pancake race! The rules of the race were simple – each team of nine had to relay along the set course, flipping their pancakes at least three times in the interim. After a quick pancake flipping practice, the race began and, in front of a crowd of intrigued spectators, Team 3 comprising of Cristina, Hadi, Ina, Mahesh, Hari, Sween, Michael, Noor and Amit, was victorious! The winning team is being treated to a night at the movies, Gold Class no less, where they get to watch the movie of their choice in the comfort of a luxurious recliner and take full advantage of the Gold Class lounge facilities.
